Our process on this job

We walk the exterior with you first and look at what the last coat actually did — where it is peeling, chalking, or holding up fine — because that determines the prep, and the prep determines the price.

Then: pressure wash the surface clean of dirt, chalk and mildew. Scrape and sand anything failing. Caulk the gaps around windows, doors and trim joints. Prime bare and repaired areas, and spot-prime stains. Then two full coats, sprayed and back-rolled or brushed depending on the substrate. We keep an eye on the weather window, so paint is not going on into rain or onto a surface still holding moisture.

Do you offer a warranty on your work?

Yes. We provide a 2-year workmanship warranty on our painting projects. If something we did is not holding up the way it should, we come back and put it right.

What kind of paint do you use?

We give you options rather than one product. There are different quality tiers at different price points, and we will talk through which makes sense for your project and your budget. What does not change is the preparation and the workmanship — those stay the same whichever paint you pick.

When is the best time to paint a house exterior in Houston?

Any stretch with a few dry days and moderate humidity works. What matters more than the season is that the surface is fully dry when paint goes on and that rain is not due before it cures. We schedule around the forecast rather than pushing through it, which occasionally means moving a day.

Do you pressure wash before painting?

Yes, on essentially every exterior job. Paint will not bond to dirt, chalk or mildew, so washing is prep rather than an add-on. We also do pressure washing on its own if that is all you need.

Can you paint stucco, brick and Hardie siding?

Yes, and each gets treated differently. Stucco needs a coating that flexes and breathes, brick needs masonry priming so the finish bonds, and Hardie board needs its joints and caulking handled properly. Using one approach on all three is how exterior jobs fail early.

Will you protect my landscaping and windows?

Yes. Plants, windows, fixtures, driveways and roofing get covered and masked before spraying starts. Overspray is avoidable, so we avoid it.

Do you repair damaged siding and trim before painting?

We handle repair as part of the prep, and we will flag anything more serious when we walk the property. Painting over rotten wood or a failing board hides the problem for a season and costs you more later, so we would rather show it to you up front.
